Device to help surgeons during the craniotomy procedure, with the objective of reducing time of surgical procedure.
This project originated from the necessity of reducing OR time during craniotomy surgical procedure.
Results
Reduction of surgical interventions
Better aesthetic results
Reduction of surgical procedure time
Cost reduction as a consequence of the lower in time and avoidance of re-intervention.
Without the intra-operatory guide two surgical procedures would be necessary, one for the craniotomy and one for the cranioplasty. Hence the reduction of time and cost.
